Made popular in Spain, and subsequently in Malaysia and Thailand, the Café Bombon is a beverage consisting of sweetened condensed milk and an espresso (or leche condensada and café solo in Spanish). For visual affect, the drink is served in a glass so to show the two layers of ingredients. Best stirred before being drinking to allow the ingredients to blend with each other.
Sometimes the condensed milk is served on the side so the customer can add themselves and watch the milk sink to the bottom of the glass and slowly create the layered affect. For a cold sweetened drink similar, the café bombon can also be served in ice.
