Café Con Hielo
Café con Hielo is Spanish for `coffee with ice`.
In English speaking nations the drink is more likely to be referred to as the Ice Shot. Both however consist of an espresso or double espresso poured over ice. The ice weakens the overall strength of the coffee to a cool refreshing beverage. The café con hielo is usually served with the espressos in one cup and the ice in a separate glass sometimes served with sugar also. Café del Tiempo is served in a similar fashion. Milk can also be added to the coffee before mixing with ice.
