German Iced Coffee
Eiskaffee is the popular cold coffee in Germany. Meaning ‘ice cream coffee’ the Eiskaffee is both simple and pleasing. Similar to the ice coffee however, this one doesn’t contain milk. It simply contains 4 to 6 ounces (120 to 180mls) of cooled coffee, 1-2 scoops of ice cream topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or dusting on top. The amount of espresso coffee you use is dependent on the strength you wish the end result to be. Use cold water in lieu of espresso to dilute the overall strength. Serve with a straw and a spoon so the customer can scoop the delicious coffee bathed ice cream.
