a story of coffee and ice
As the name suggests, the ice shot is a simple espresso or double espresso poured over ice. It is unrecognisable from Café con Hielo which is Spanish for `coffee with ice`. The Mazagran is also similar only it also involves a slice of lemon. The Ice Shot appears to be the Australian version originally to the café con hielo. Once the hot brewed coffee lands on the ice it melts away diluting the overall strength of the espresso creating a cold refreshing coffee.
