A Piccolo latte is very similar to the Antoccino and the Cortado in taste and strength.
Whilst the Antoccino dictates a specific ratio, the piccolo latte does not. Mostly served in a 90ml / 3 ounce macchiato glass consisting of an espresso and the rest milk which resembles a mini latte. The smaller glass presents a challenging and fun prospect for baristas to achieve latte art in the smaller glass. The term Piccolo is sometimes used to describe any latte smaller than the conventionally small 7 to 8 ounce glass. The drink is perfect for someone who wants another coffee but not a full portion of milk presented in a normal latte.
